Winter Information Systems Conference
David Eccles School of Business

March 11 and 12, 2005
As the inaugurating Winter Information Systems Conference in the David Eccles School of Business (DESB) at the University of Utah (UU) approaches, it is exciting that we have put together a program with 10 paper presentations with discussions from prominent and emerging researchers, and a panel featuring leaders in our community. Also very important to the conference is our weather. As the time of this communication, new snow is still being added to over 100 inches of base snow at most of the ski resorts in Utah!
We believe that the format of our Winter Information Systems Conference will offer an enjoyable setting to build a close, high-caliber community in information systems. Our intent is to hold the conference every year in the David Eccles School of Business. The theme of the inaugurating conference is Enabling Business Intelligence.
